My sculptures get to exist in digital environments and provide more narrative than they would in the real world. I am telling stories with my art that I can’t tell in clay alone. I am doing collaborative pieces with other artists, which takes the work to completely new places. The clay sculpture is deeply grounding to make, the processes are extremely physical and even athletic, as I like to work life-size when possible. The digital work adds a fourth dimension that I find endlessly intriguing, and I love seeing the mixture of the clay and digital elements.
